Japan[]

First Release[]

Released in Japan first, the Wolf's Rain anime series was released by Bandai Visual across 8 volumes, with each volume having a Japanese language track and no subtitles. The first pressing of the first volume included an A2 sized cloth poster. The final four OVA episodes of the series were released in two additional volumes —each containing two episodes— for a total of ten DVD volumes.

The series was available also available on VHS exclusively through video rental shops.

The spines of the DVDs featured a full moon face that changed from white to red across the 10 spines, following the events of the series.

Re-release[]

EMOTION the Best WOLF'S RAIN DVD-BOX by Bandai Visual

On May 27th, 2011 a box set was released by Bandai Visual exclusively in Japan. EMOTION the Best WOLF'S RAIN DVD-BOX contains:

United Kingdom & Ireland[]

Wolf's Rain — Ultimate Edition by Anime Limited (aka All the Anime)

On May 28th, 2018 the Wolf's Rain Ultimate Edition was released by Anime Limited. Only 1,000 limited edition sets were produced.^[1]

The boxset contained:

4 Blu-ray discs in a digipack
- Episodes 1 - 30 (including OVAs)
- English dub and original Japanese track with English subtitles.
100 page book/artbook
A3 posters (x3)
Art Cards (x9)

The normal edition; Wolf's Rain Blu-ray, was release June 25th, 2018. It contained episodes 1 to 30 with the English dub and original Japanese track along with English subtitles.

France[]

In France, December 17th, 2015, the series was released as a boxset called "Wolf's Rain L'Intégrale Edition Gold" (Wolf's Rain The Integral Gold Edition).

The boxset came with:

5 DVDs
- Episodes 1 - 30 (including OVAs)
- French dub and original Japanese track with French subtitles.

Re-release[]

The series was later re-released on April 16th, 2018 in a limited edition Blu-ray boxset called "Wolf's Rain Intégrale Collector Blu-ray Limitée" (Wolf's Rain Integral Collection Limited Blu-ray)

The set came with:

3 Blu-rays
- Episodes 1 - 30 (including OVAs)
- French dubbing and original Japanese track with French subtitles.
216 page, A4 sized artbook
5 cardboard illustrations in A4 format

Trivia[]

In the Ultimate Collectors Edition, episode 26, Kiba's english voice actor is mistakingly listed as Mamoru Miyano instead of Johnny Yong Bosch.
