Iyek (イーク , Īku) and his tribe believe in wolves. In fact, they believe that humans have came from wolves. It is also believed that Iyek and the rest of his tribe know of Paradise like the wolves.
Appearance[]
Iyek is a young Hmong Tribe man. He has slightly tanned skin with a strong jawline. He has thick black eyebrows and grey-brown eyes.
He has long black hair that he ties off near the ends with a white ribbon-like material. He wears red marks on his face that go from the sides of his jaw to the crease between his nose and cheeks.
He wears a long-sleeved orange shirt with tassels under a fur-lined coat. He also wears a pair of blue jeans and brown, fur-lines leather boots. Iyek also wears a pair of brown leather gloves.
On his head he wears a thin blue headband with a single feather tucked into it near the back of his head. A blue scarf or handkerchief is tied around his neck with a sliver necklace made to look like metal tassels; as well as a silver medallion that hangs on a string.
Personality[]
Iyek is mature and caring. He shows respect to his elder and fellow Hmong tribesmen. He is serious and reliable when need be. He is shown to be well liked within the tribe.
Plot[]
When the wolves explain that they are looking for Kiba, Iyek believes that he may be in a place known as the Desert's Bones. After they find Kiba in a plant within the desert, some of Jagura's troops attack, but are soon paralyzed by the toxic plant and they bring Kiba back to the village. The elder of the tribe managed to bring back Kiba's spirit from the fake Paradise and tells them the legends of this world.
While Kiba's pack passes the village, Iyek tells them what happened with the dogs that had been injured and killed by Lady Jaguara's troops. Before the wolves leave, Toboe asks one last favor from Iyek; to find Quent to make sure he's all right. Iyek managed to find Quent and brought him back to health. When his dog howled, Toboe knew that they have found Quent and that he is safe.
